There are 2 main modes of operation – manual and motorised.

Manual

Shutters can be hand-pull operated. Hand-pull operation is more suited for light-duty shutters and uses a spring-loaded mechanism (helical torsion spring coil of 5mm diameter or more to suit varying spans of shutters).

Motorised

Our motorised shutters come equipped with the high quality Taiwanese ‘Eastone’ brand of motor operators one of the top 3 in Taiwan. The motors are designed based on the highly coveted Japnese model and infused with Japanese technical know-how. These motor operators are widely accepted and distributed throughout the world.

Our motorised shutters come equipped with upper and lower limit switches (key or button switch), built-in thermal protector, manual hand chain-driven operation and a proprietary brake release system to achieve safety closing speed. Our motorised shutters can also be operated via a remote control. 

For added safety, a safety-edge device sensitive to any part of the bottom rail can be installed so that the shutters can be stopped or reversed. The safety edge comes with an EPDM rubber profile. EPDM rubber is well known for its retardant properties against oil and a wide range of chemicals and is far superior to PVC caskets.
